The Crescent Cardinal was socially distant due to chronic illness before the world changed from the Covid-19 pandemic. One evening, she was sitting in her bed experiencing poor mobility and was going through old books of lyrics she had written reflecting on the emotions they stemmed from. She came across the song "Mobile Generation" and felt inspiration - She thought of how the emotional constellation could validate the experiences of people in the world today living a physically distant world for the first time.

We are all becoming a part of the mobile generation dependent on data or wifi to connect. The song is somber, realistic with symbolic production on the vocals with elements of unaltered recordings keep an element of raw sound to match the emotions.

The song was created during a goal of learning as much as the Crescent Cardinal could in 30 non-consecutive days using Ableton Live Lite 10 as an adaptive way to express, create and share her free-form music.
